Eldred Piano

Julia Eldred has been teaching private and class piano for 20 years. Julia has been a piano faculty member of the Lawson Academy of the Arts at Converse College since 1994 and works with a diverse array of students from beginning musicians to college bound performance majors; both young and old. Julia also maintains a successful private piano studio in Greer, SC.

Julia is a member of several professional music orginizations. She is currently a SCFMC Northern District Auditions Chairperson and held the District II Audition Chairperson for SCMTA for 10 years. Julia also currently serves on the Faculty Advisory Committee of the Lawson Academy.

Mrs. Eldred holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in piano pedagogy from Converse College, Spartanburg, SC. She regularly adjudicates and performs throughout the Carolinas and Georgia.

Julia currently performs as a member of the Lawson Piano Duo, Trilogia Piano Trio and the chamber group Musical Elegance, is an active teacher, accompanist, and church musician.
